Medical Inside Sales Representative

Responsibilities and Duties:

  • Develop new business via telephone, mass communication such as email and social media, trade shows and associations to identify appropriate clients within the target market
  • Build and cultivate customer relationships through routine communications and follow-up in order to drive opportunities through the sales funnel
  • Provide support to partner sales channels to ensure their continued focus on selling Western products and solutions
  • Provide feedback on competitive activity, make recommendations on sales and marketing activities, products and pricing
  • Collaborate with sales and marketing peers to build successful strategy and tactics to identify opportunities and secure new business
  • Identify key site contacts and decision makers to increase quote activity and generate product needs/wants lists
  • Become an expert in understanding Western’s products and market applications
  • Conduct strategic account reviews with assigned customers on a regular basis to review needs and usage trends
  • Develop effective and regular communication programs advising Western customers of new products, pricing promotions, technical developments and sales opportunities
  • Promote all Western products and identify new product opportunities
  • Manage customer data in CRM, ensuring all communications are logged and information is accurate
  • Order entry, follow–up, and support as needed
  • Provide back-up and assistance to Customer Service as needed

Qualifications:

  • Associates or Bachelor’s degree preferred
  • 2-3 years of inside sales or customer service experience
  • Selling instrumentation or technical products in the industrial or medical market is preferred
  • Experience in manufacturing and/or gas control industry is a plus
  • Must be fluent in Microsoft Office
  • Ability to learn and use CRM software
  • Project a professional company image through phone interaction
  • Comfortable selling technical products
